Why do I need to set to allow my firewall to accept cookies ?

I cannot complete my order. The system keeps prompting me and/or takes me back to update my information. OR After submitting order, I'm taken back to login or the main page.

Typically this can be caused by three things.
- Customer's browser configuration is off
- Cookies are disabled
- Personal firewall settings are too strict

Can I print an eBook?

The answer is usually no. However, Some ebook formats (currently Adobe) allow consumers to print their ebook if the publisher/author chooses to allow this.
In many cases, the printing of an ebook is restricted to only a few pages at a time.
- Why must I activate my Adobe Reader?
Many publishers require powerful copy protection for their eBook titles. In order for you to be able to purchase and download eBook titles that have been secured for distribution, you first need to activate your Adobe Reader. Just as a credit card typically must be activated by a bank before use, your Adobe Reader needs to be activated before you can purchase and read eBooks packaged for secure distribution.
- Can I print or copy my Adobe ebook?
To protect copyrights, publishers and authors establish their own guidelines for how much of their eBooks can be printed or copied. This means that these permissions will differ from book to book. Each ebook file has a differing level of encryption which is controlled by the author/publisher at creation. For example, a publisher might give users the ability to print several pages of a cookbook within a set period of time. You'll see specifc settings for the Adobe title under the ebook description.
Do I have to be online on the internet to use Adobe Digital Editions?
No. You need to be online to install Digital Editions and purchase eBooks. After you install and receive your eBooks, you can use Digital Editions offline. However, if you have Adobe Reader® 8 or Acrobat® 8 software installed and double-click on your PDF eBooks, you will be directed to the Digital Editions website. To avoid this, you should launch Digital Editions and open your eBooks from the library pane.
